Jane Kang is a Korean-American artist whose work examines what is lost or forgotten in the process of cultural assimilitation and seeks to cultivate a mythos for identities existing within liminal zones of culture, nationality, and history.

In the past, she has curated music and art shows and organized aid for 7Hills Homeless Shelter, NWA Rape Crisis Center, Peace at Home domestic violence shelter, the UN refugee agency, and Lucie’s Place homeless shelter for LGBTQAI+ youth.

She lives and works in San Francisco, California.
